Monthly Meeting Report
The FSUG-TVM monthly meeting was held on 14th August, 2010,from 3pm to 5pm
at SPACE, Vellayambalam.

The Meeting Agenda was The Freedom Software Day, and the following decisions
were taken:
Mahesh has already registered for the Software Freedom Day.
To organize awareness classes and workshops in different CBSE schools in
Thiruvananthapuram,
We need volunteers so that we can form teams and send each team to different
schools, and we expect to cover atleast 4 or 5 schools on 18th September.
Sunil Chandran will soon put up a form for the volunteers list.
Sasi Kumar sir suggested that we should contact other LUGs and conduct a
planned and synchronised program throughtout the state on 18th September.He
also suggested that banners should be put up in major towns over Kerala. So
we kindly request LUG members of different regions to come together to make
Software Freedom Day a grand success.
Sooraj Kennoth of zyware technologies proposed that the FSUG TVM should do
an activity for environment protection.
Also we discussed about the program by College of Engineering Chenganoor
called IGNITE about spreading an awareness about FOSS among school children.
They had requested support from FSUG members. The meeting concluded by 5 pm.
