Hi friends, My friend has a very old system, which is nearing its end of life. He installed Karmic (Ubuntu 9.10) & running fine. But he doesn't have decent internet connection to download additional softwares. I'm using Ubuntu 11.04. I've installed additional softwares & created an installation disk using 'aptoncd'. I want to know, is it possible to use this installation disk on older versions of ubuntu, say 9.10 (Karmic). I tried using ubuntu software center, but is shows dependency problems. But I was able to install packages one by one.
