I got a Lenovo Thinkpad z570 yesterday with Ubuntu 11 installed. One major
issue is that wireless does not work.
"Wireless is disabled by the hardware switch" is the status in Network
Manager. Wired ethernet works.
I googled this message and there are many posts specific to this issue. But
none of the workarounds enabled wireless
The following are some details. Has anyone faced this issue or have a
solution?
