I tried with --fix-missing option also, still no luck. Any idea...? some more points noted : 1. System becomes very slow after updating to 11.10. 2. When i use my user id to login, after login I could not see the shutdown button on top right corner (after my user name) where as if i am login as guest, i can see shutdown button. 3. If i am selecting shutdown button from the login screen, it displays the dialogue box to Restart or Shutdown, but none of them are working (means if i press any of these button it sipmply close the dialogue box) thanks guys!
