There are much apps to help reduce battery consumption in android. If
you select properly, you can get a good battery backup. Firefox phone
is still in developer preview. Regarding the last nightly I used, Most
of bugs are ironed out. Reasonably stable and good batery backup.

But its not available now. You will have to wait for Firefox OS 2.

Last phone I know that handles debian was Openmoko. Since you don't
like buggy, I doubt it will work.

My suggestion is to take Moto E, as Sreenadh has experience that
battery will persist for 3 days if you don't use too much apps and
all. I am not sure about moto G. Usually more than 1 day battery for a
smart phone is really good. You can buy a battery pack, if you are so
concerned about battery.
