But I am guessing your question is about replacing android itself, so no. However since mozilla is trying to push firefox OS to the general market, you could wait till then and go for it. Or you could grab one of the replicant supported devices[1] (Completely free version of android - backed by FSF) and replace the stock firmware. The devices are relatively old, and last time I checked ebay offers some good deal on those hardwares. Happy Hacking.
