In the time of Olympics, linux was slapped by NBC with silverlight. None of the distros have any workaround, but Ubuntu forums gave a partial workaround (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5574835&postcount=54). I think this is a great contribution towards linux, rather than committing a patch to Kernel. This whole troll from novell shows how much novell feared about ubuntu.
