Could anyone suggest the shortcut key by which one can toggle between shell
prompt(CLI) and GUI Desktop in Ubuntu 8.0.4 LTS Server Edition?
I believe that the server edition of Ubuntu Does not come with Gnome/kde..
try sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

While installing I had chosen "Ubuntu Desktop" in software package
option instead of KDE/GNOME though it was one of the option to choose.
Was it due to this?
please clarifiy this.
