Got this out of fdisk

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 * 1 1023 261872 83 Linux
/dev/sdb2 1024 7656 1698048 b W95 FAT32
_______________
Tried with mkfs.ext3 to use the whole disk
with no luck.
Should I do anything else before attempting to
get grub onto it?

Thnx
