ok, from the top thenI've a fedora sys installed with a 2.26.27.3 kernel I compiled. would like to install a linux system onto my pendrive.
I connect the pendrive through my USB. It s a 2 gig kingston. Sometime earlier I read a similar fd lin system. @ http://www.pocket-linux.org/ I understand that the obvious choice in my case would be to get dsl or Nimble on to my pen drive. However, I would like to understand how everything fits together by putting together one myself. I've tried the fdisk and mkfs.ext3 tools with no luck. In both cases I get the same grub error. I'm using the grub already installed in my system. Will give syslinux a go too. Any suggestions, pls? _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
