I have iwl3945 and nvidia-glx drivers working out of the box right from
the day I installed Ubuntu Hardy some 6 or 7 months back.

This issue happened a couple of days back and went away only after the
laptop cooled down. Now after that I haven't had any crashes though
there has been some heat in the base of my laptop as it had been the day
of frequent crashes.

I was googling for this problem and I found some resources saying that
ACPI support wasn't that good in Ubuntu Hardy's default kernel. I don't
know if that applies to my case. But I want to dig more into it and
exactly zero in to the problem.

Thank you.

Regards,
Guruprasad.
