I want to install Debian on my Acer Aspire One as well but have not started it for fear or breaking functionality. It runs WinXP currently. I also hear that some of the power management functions are not fully supported on Linux. What's the best distro for the Aspire One at the moment? I would prefer Debian or the derivatives.
