I am least bothered about whether its a top-post, bottom-post or fsucking-lamp-post. If the guy has top/bottom posted 'badly', then in most of the cases i do not even go through it - i might be losing some information, but i do not give it a damn. I see email etiquettes to be more driven by evolution(and street-smartness) and not something that you push down one's throat. Am not sure whether you are a member of 'python-dev' -- but trust me, i have seen some 'really' bad structuring with brilliant ideas. In this forum, there are a few authors whose i posts i go through, even though i do not understand the contents. It is sheer ecstasy to read such posts for it teaches me loads of things -- Kapil/Shakti are such examples - i havent met any of these guys, but its nice to read their posts. Rants : I am not a great proponent/opponent of FOSS, i do not understand the plethora of licenses and their clauses, i am not a core-developer of any BIG copyleft project, i have not spoken in any of the conferences, i have not attended foss.in or anything similar -- in short, i live in my own microcosm and do stuff that i like, and i hang around in these channels to meet some smart people, share and appreciate the humour(which is important) and go up the value chain along with my fellow-mates. phew! -V- http://twitter.com/venkasub _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [email protected] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
