Hi My Windows partition won't boot anymore, throws BSoD. I have dual-boot [XP & Ubuntu] & am trying to run an NTFS diskcheck similar to CHKDSK from Ubuntu on the NTFS partition.
I tried to boot on Windows XP CD & work via Recovery Console but to no avail as the Windows XP CD fails to even recognise the hard disk. Also tried ntfsfix which reverts back in a second & says disks are fine, which is not true.
