You indicate everything works fine if the page has no popup windows.
So your network seems to be okay. The error seems to indicate a client
side problem.
You can try :
1) Use a different browser
2) Clear cache, cookies and retry
3) Restart DVR box and retry
4) Check http error logs (if possible) that may contain more detail
