One thing that I forgot to mention in my earlier response (although quite honestly it /shouldn't/ make *any* difference at all -- but this is a good point if you make a case with suits who don't know are just concerned about costs) -- it is easier to find and hire RHCEs and other Red Hat certified people to manage your systems than it is to find Novell certified people.
