Hi, On disk configuration part when going for manual partition i got this error "Fatal error: bad logical partition 8:enlarged logical partitions overlap".
Here is my fdisk -l output: Disk /dev/sda: 500.1 GB, 500107862016 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 60801 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disk identifier: 0xae1bae1b Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sda1 * 1 9561 76798701 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/sda2 9562 60800 411576501+ f W95 Ext'd (LBA) /dev/sda5 22310 35057 102398278+ 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/sda6 47494 47805 2499584 82 Linux swap / Solaris /dev/sda7 47806 60800 104381440 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/sda8 9562 15935 51199092 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/sda9 35058 47368 98882560 83 Linux /dev/sda10 47368 47493 1007616 82 Linux swap / Solaris /dev/sda11 15936 22309 51199123+ 7 HPFS/NTFS Partition table entries are not in disk order. I want to install arch in sda7. (sda10 was swap space created by ubuntu then for oracle i needed more swap space so i created sda6) Tell me the possible solutions. I cannot format whole disk.
