+1 for ThinkPad reliability. I bought (an economy model at that - R51e, if I'm not wrong) way back in 2005, and I've taken it on some really rough journeys home. I simply got bored after using it for 4 long years, and not one problem (but I'm usually a careful device user, so YMMV). Donated it to my sis, and she still uses it just fine (with a RAM upgrade) after the Compaq/HP she bought got bricked in about half the time. I'm more of a desktop user now and an Acer netbook does the job for my short trips, but if I had to pick a full-powered laptop, it's definitely going to be a TP. Vamsee. _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
