  It is always a good idea to use package management software instead of
manually installation. As a last resort, try to enable the appropriate
repositories behind  fedora15. Try enabling the latest repositories by
changing the "Options" in yumex or the usual  package manager in Fedora15.
Then see if the libraries you need are listed. If not, then do it manually.
