I am aware of it. But being somewhat a purist, and having led an Oracle team (back in 5.x and 7.x days), I found postgres nearest hit. SAP DB, sqlite etc were in my mind. At the time the Geo-location datatype was available only in Postgres and is a fairly clean follower of Codd's Rules. Ok, As a disclaimer, I would say I am a bit biased here having tasted production successa. :) Actually in the last few days I have been playing around with sqlite which I found quite fine for apps upto say 50-100 users or so. -- Regards, Rajagopal _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
