Recently, my cell's (Nokia 2730c) behaving totally mysteriously. It used to work normal everywhere, but these days, it shows range only under certain towers, for example, the second I cross mamablam coming from nungambakam side, the signal just goes off to zero bar. Same happens when I cross Marina, where it shows full range and it goes zero once I reach Santhome. It doesn't work anywhere else in Tamil Nadu. But it works fine once I reach Pondicherry. First I thought its issue with the SIM or provider(BSNL), but I tried using it in another Samsung phone at Tambaram, its working perfectly fine. Then I thought its got to do with cell's antennas, some frequency issues, since both 2G and 3G(WCDMA) are not working, but l8r I realised that even when there's no range, my internet's working super fine. (infact, i'm sending this mail from my cell, from Tambaram, and cell's showing zero range, no calls, messages allowed.) Third reason I thought was that its some issue with software, S40, and I reinstalled OS and still its all same. Not OS, not provider, not hardware, then where's it failing? Any explanations?
