I can't quote anymore I think. Gmail has completely removed mailing list etiquette. ;)
Anyway this article and the interview and post by Marc I read all. Marc Espie is the author of the pkg_* tools and is a very senior OpenBSD dev. When you guys said BSD I thought you were talking of FreeBSD. The article that has been linked to also is level headed and not bad. The real issue is not having enough developers in OpenBSD but that of non UNIX thinking invading the development of open source projects. I agree with Marc(what is surprising here?). Long ago I installed Redhat and was shocked to find that there was no make in the default install. -Girish On Thu, Nov 22, 2012 at 8:46 PM, A.
