promotion should include workshops and useful education.

It should not have textbook answers to questions like

what are the freedoms?

who made linux?

what is linux ? et al.

we have enough of theory that takes us no where. + somebody can easily find
the linux theories on net.

Try and bring good educators who can , say for example, take a class on
latex beamer to make a presentation.

Using Gimp to make flyers . and so on.

Not high level , kernel stuff. Just make people know which tool to use,
how to use kind of tutorials.
