Hi everyone,

I had a Mandrake 9.0 system (installed using 5 CDs) which I recently
upgraded to Mandrake 9.1 using the single CD distro provided on the DIGIT
DVD. Since
then, While I got the much cooler looking KDE and other such eye-candy, I
have been unable to connect to the net (KPPP says "PPPD deamon just died
unexpectedly" a couple of seconds after I have connected), unable to play
music (XMMS says "Could not open audio"), and here is the most irritating
thing of all - Unable to type out simple documents that contain the
characters 'v', 'd', 'h', or '.' (and a couple of others) because for some
weird reason, the X-server (I suppose) is not catching those key-strokes.

Any help? Could it be a virus?

- AJ
