quanta+ is a great web-authoring and design tool that is GPL-ed and
works under linux. but it is a WYSIWYMean tool. i am looking for a
WYSIWYGet tool, something like dreamweaver or golive that people on the
other side of the fence use.

i remember there was something, but can't find it in sourceforge. did
some googling, but no luck. found one tool, but is under a proprietory
license.

tried mozilla's composer tool, but does not suffice my purpose. looked
at openoffice1.1 but it is quite broken.

bluefish (blufish?) is just another quanta+.

sigh!

anyone knows/uses/is aware of, a tool that is truly WYSIWYG
web-authoring.
okay, no flames here on how HTML and XML and browser-rendering and
paltform-issues and CCS make the idea of WYSIWYG paradoxical.

my question is simple: something like dreamweaver /golive that is
graphic-designer oriented.

and no, i am not looking at a web-based engine, like php-nuke or plone
or something.

??
