I think that a Forum is a great idea...much easier to navigate and reference 
older threads to some of the common problems and questions.....that are put 
forward by members. I think that it is also a great way to increase the 
exposure of DLUG to others and showcase us as an active group........any 
outsider (like me when i first visited the site) that DLUG is not too 
active...

The question is how can this be done...the first step could perhaps be to 
setup a poll on the website and see how many people are in favour of the 
forum.
if the outcome is favourable and we all decide that a forum is the way to go 
then we could see how this could go forward (perhaps hosting it on a 
seperate machine and including a link on the home page....I dont know the 
costs involved but i would be happy to contribute cash for it)

If anyone has more ideas or suggestions regarding the proposal....lets hear 
them :-D.
