Dear we had a newbies meet and we will conduct it in
future, but linux is being used in several situations
and in light of recent attacks on linux systems i had
proposed to have meet on linx securities. I agree that
this meet will sound completle jargon and will go
overhead for the newbies, and that is why i earlier
proposed to do away with introduction to gnu/linux but
several members wanted to have something for newbies
and hence came back the introduction to gnu/linux.
Lets see what is the outcome, although i still belive
15 minutes of intro followed by security jargon will
not be much of use, but this is my belief and i could
be wrong, so lets see what happens. If the response is
good we willl continue this or else drop it.
