-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I have made a script which displays a progress bar and a rotator (those \-/|'s) no matter whether any progress is being made :-P. Now, I have a problem. How do I invoke two commands together such that the rotator is running till the first thing is running and exits as soon as it is over? - -- Regards, Arjun Asthana [EMAIL PROTECTED] Linux: Choose your freedom Proud user of kmail, opera and icewm __________________________ : ####[ GNU/Linux One Stanza Tip (LOST) ]####################### Sub : Contents of .deb file [#1] LOST #044 To know the contents of a deb file, if you have dpkg installed fire Midnight Commander (mc) ... Just press enter on the .deb file in mc and you have all the contents of the .deb file ... Then you can copy all the stuff from one pane to another in some directory. Same thing applies to .tar.gz and rpm files .. provided rpm, tar and gzip are installed. ####[rfowkar (at) yahoo.com]################################## : -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQFA4rpP9mAtgws7e1wRAjeTAJwL/fF8zKG+tR7AoxsomkOewSZCbwCggCIA 5XYnDPgDsKuqkgXvMJqCnnU= =U+ZW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/
