Hi,

I have made a script which displays a progress bar and a rotator (those
\-/|'s) no matter whether any progress is being made :-P. Now, I have a
problem. How do I invoke two commands together such that the rotator is
running till the first thing is running and exits as soon as it is over?

To know the contents of a deb file, if you have dpkg installed
fire Midnight Commander (mc) ... Just press enter on the .deb
file in mc and you have all the contents of the .deb file ...
Then you can copy all the stuff from one pane to another in
some directory. Same thing applies to .tar.gz and rpm files ..
provided rpm, tar and gzip are installed.
