[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# cat resolv.conf [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
it seems my resolv.conf is empty!!!
So that is your problem. Somehow kppp has not been able to update your resolv.conf with the DNS server information that it received during the connection.
Do this to correct the problem: Take a look at /var/log/messages immediately after connection. See, if information about the connection is written there - Something like local & remote address, name servers etc. If this information is not written, add "debug" to the "custom pppd arguments" dialog, and dial again. Use the nameserver IP addresses written to the log, and add them to /etc/resolv.conf in the following format.
e.g. I add these to /etc/resolv.conf after connecting to reliance.
