Hi Linux-Delhi!

I have HP ML 350 G4 server and required to be installed with Redhat 8.0 as per the requirement.
I have 146GB x 3 SCSI U320 drives attached to raid controller (Smart Array 642 Controller). I have made RAID0 with smart array configuration utility without any trouble.

1. Now when i start the Redhat 8.0 installation it Says: Attached hard drive is not detected & then reboots!...during installation.
2. But when i start installation for Redhat9.0 it picks the cciss driver & get ready for installation fine!

That means Redhat 8.0 does't have smart array controller's driver prebuilt in it.
I searched hp.com and found the drivers for Redhat 8.0 at:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/19969.html
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/20424.html

Questions: HP documents says login as root to system. But which system on which i want to install Redhat 8.0?
I mean if Redhat 8.0 installation is not going beyond that "Hard disk could't get detected error.. as stated [1] above "then which system docs are talking about there.
anyone does have any idea?

Thanks
Yash
