Hi Friends,
I was installing redhat 9.0 into one of mine system but during installation
the system hangs(about 5 secs after i click enter from the installation
menu).
The screen is full of text and last line reads like 'ehci-hcd ' also USB was
written in the last line.
I then tried to rerun the instalation after removing the mouse (which is in
USB port). The installation runs successfully then. But i aborted the
installation as i does not want to run the system without mouse.
Please friends guide me how to install the Linux on the system . I have
installed the Linux from the same CD to another PC but with PS/2 mouse and
intel PIII.
Also i have another question one of mine friends once said to me that
installing Linux is a risk to Hard Disk , is it true.(However i did not
believed him).
I am running the system with the following configuration:
1)AMD 2800 processor. (Does redhat 9.0 supports AMD)
2)RAM 512 MB
3)LG monitor
4)The system already has Windows XP and Win 98 installed.
etc.
