the directory is /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins and the files that are
required for flash are flashplayer.xpt & libflashplayer.so
i've not encountered any such 1/4th screen problem till date. you may want
to checkout some other sites which have flash and see if it works

open firefox (or epiphany) and drag and drop the .swf file in it. the file
will automatically sync to the height and width of the firefox window. if
you resize that window then press reload to properly display the flash
file
