I already downloaded the gentoo 2005.1 universal CD and the 2005.1 packages Cd so the sources download should be minimal (or am I mistaken?) I plan to do the (easy) network-less install. I did try and install Gentoo once (older release) and it took ages on a slow PC even though i had a T1 net connection. The compile times were simply crazy. Will share what i manage to achieve ;-).
