Attached is a PDF draft of a letter to prospective members of the guidance
committee for the student mentorship program. Please send me comments
as soon as possible. Ideally, the letters should go out this week, so that we
can start talking to commitee members next week. In particular, please let
me know who should be signing this letter. (Of course, the final version will
contain complete e-mail addresses and phone numbers.) Also, please
send suggestions for people who can serve on the committee. These should
be people who are respected by, and sympathetic to, the FOSS community.
At present, suggested names include Amitabh Tripathi, Wagish Shukla, Leo
Fernandes, Ravikant from Sarai, and another woman professor from IIT-Delhi
whose name eludes us at the moment.
