Actually there are certain applications/modules that do not run if they detect the environment to be 64 bit. I have encountered, this problem with the tun drivers on 64 bit (http://vtun.sourceforge.net/) .. I was forced to move to a 32 bit architecture to run the same.
You'd better check out your requirements, day to day 32 bit applications work just fine though. Anand On 3/9/06, Tanveer Singh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Should not? No why here. 32bit stuff runs fine on 64bit systems. _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
