Well a subconferece and aa BoF cant be compared. WHat i am proposing is having focused talk on one specific technology/programing language, something on the lines of this http://2007.oscms-summit.org/drupalcon Oscms at Sunnyvale yahoo hosted a drupal subconference which gathered developers and users of drupal. On similar lines i am proposing to hold one or two subconferences, which can also becoming selling point of the event. Say python subconference where there wll e talks focused on python and python related technologies. Or subconference on perl or php or cms or mobile technologies etc. etc. A subconference is little bit more focused (or narrower ) than a track. A track will cater to a larger audience. > Um, this is a little contradictory. Are you > proposing > one sub-conference, or multiple ones? > One or multiple depends on interest. To make things easier you can call it a focused track... regards VK Engineers normally have problem with every solution. If not they have a solution in search of a problem. http://creative.linux-delhi.org Disclaimer The facts expressed here belong to everybody, the opinions to me.
