Have been using APC HI800SQ since April 2007.
Due to severe voltage fluctuations(which is regular
feature in Gurgaon,if we have electricity)
the UPS went dead twice in last 5 months and was
replaced within a day without any charges.
It can be said APC service is very good in warranty
period.

APC Sine wave is around 20K (double of other inverters
in the market).
Su-Kam Sine waver is supposed to be very good too,and
not costly.

Get a sine wave inverter.
And get a battery of your choice, which doesn't need
much maintenance.
