yup. we check batteries regularly and only use RO water. this since my
first UPS decades ago.

yes. the UPS is kept away with good ventilation etc, in a large airy
room with exhaust.

more specific questions:
how old is your luminous? is it an invertor?
what kind of load have you connected to it? lights, fans, comps?
is your luminous a pure sinewave, or a step-sine, or <placeholder>?
