Hi,
The Asus M2N-MXE is fully supported under Linux. All things will
work Out of the box with almost all new Linux distros with Open source
drivers
sata_nv for SATA
pata_amd for PATA
forcedeth for LAN
nv for 2d acceleration
Audio will also work fine
You just have to install the Nvidia proprietary binary drivers for 3D
acceleration with the onboard Geforce 6100 graphics (To run
compiz/beryl/compiz fusion etc also you need to do this).
So you can go ahead and buy it.
