Hardware support is just a minor irritant in the larger scheme of things as the software is far better than those that run on doze machines. Thats why i have been dual booting between linux and windows at home for the last 7.5 years.
i just lost access to my company email because they moved the company's mail from an open source linux based web mail system to Microsoft exchange. The problem being that i am not part of their domain sitting on a secure network as it were and now i can not access my mail because that god forsaken software only allows domain users to connect and i am not on the domain.
