We are looking for a Linux Admin with 1-4yrs of experience and security
savvy professional. Below is the detailed job description:
*Technical Experience:*
1. Technologies – 80% Linux + 20% Windows (Servers & Desktops)
2. Essential Technologies – Squid Proxy, IPTABLES/Shorewall and other
(optional) Firewalls, Postfix/qmail mail server, Spamassasin, Clamav,
Amavis-new, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Centralized Antivirus
(Symantec/Trend), Patch Management (WSuS), Knowledge of troubleshooting
hardware and desktop calls.
3. Add-on technologies – CVS, VSS, Backup Software(s)
(Amanda/CA/Veritas), Perl/Shell scripting, port scanning, vulnerability
assessment, penetration testing, ITIL best practices
4. Preference – RHCE/Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)/ITIL Certified
*Education Qualifications:*
B.Tech/B.E/MCA
*Mandatory:*
1. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
2. Client handling and vendor management skills
3. Learning ability, knowledge sharing and technology hungry attitude
to help the team overcome any technical issue
4. Current role with existing employer should be to maintain servers.
Desktop/hardware engineers won't work for this profile.
*Job Profile:*
1. To provide technical consulting to various clients. Our area of
expertise include IT infrastructure management and Information security.
Typical tasks would be deployment of mail
server/firewall/proxy/cluster/VOIP/other deployments, remote
troubleshooting, security audits, penetration testing and enforcing ITIL
processes. Planning/Designing and executing new IT setups
2. To ensure processes and procedures (ITIL/ISO 27001) are in place
for existing clients
3. Profile might require traveling for onsite-implementations and
client meetings.
Candidates settled in Noida will be preferred. Traveling expense to various
client sites will be reimbursed separately. Salary package will be as per
industry standards.
