I had earlier used Firefox on Ubuntu to book tickets via pvrcinemas.com. Earlier
it didn't used to work - after selecting my seats and providing my credit card
information I was never able to post the information. Then one fine day I was
able to post the information but I didn't receive an e-mail nor were the tickets
booked, and I assumed that my credit card was charged.

Then I sent a really bad stinker to pvrcinemas.com for not supporting the
Firefox browser and causing me financial loss. Within an hour I got a phone call
from them and I was asked to book the ticket with an Internet Explorer browser
(which I did on my wife's laptop). They said they'll work on Firefox
compatibility. They also refunded me my amount (which was charged earlier) when
I went to the cinema hall to collect my tickets.

In later days I booked my tickets from the pvrcinemas.com website via Firefox
more than a few times and it worked. They also had put a notice on the website
saying the site was compatible with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Not sure why
they removed that message now.

These days, for me no PVR. I book my tickets via bookmyshow.com and it works. I
think the best method for you would be to charge your credit card (and risk your
300+ rupees) and then take it up with PVR. Since it is going to be a financial
dealing, they would respond back for sure.
