I have used Tata Indicomm connection using a PCIMCIA card in the past, though it maps to a ttyUSB eventually. The card works good, and without problems, you just need to know the default settings of connections, such as the number to dial, the username and password. It definitely works better than a 56K dial-up. As for speed, I have experienced upto 120 kilo bits per sec, when they claim the max being 155. Connections were reliable enough for me. -- Goldwyn _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
