Would be great if you could be a little less generic-- post a few SPECIFIC words about the underlying philosophy and motivation and ideas behind the group; maybe a bit about the specific technologies core members of the OSUM group are interested in; maybe links to their blogs too. I dont agree with everything Gora says; but yea... there's a grain of truth in his objection... coz when I clicked the link, all I got was a landing page which asked me to register-- so even though I love watching demos and learning new techs I couldnt quite get what specifically (out of 3-4 specific goals) you guys aim at in starting OSUM. So buddy; for the benefit of folks like me; feel free to drop another mail with a slightly more detailed thingie about whose the target audience; interests/focus/achievements of core members of OSUM; and which specific open source technologies your initial focus will be on... (and dont say "all Open Source Techs...") Also, dont take Gora's comments abt "grounds for moderation" to heart... he can be caustic at times, but he's just one more member of this group... just like you and me... take it as positive feedback and defend yourself if you think it's off-target, and remember, there are many who're interested in ventures like this one... if only you package the info as something instantly relevant... instead of "visit the landing page and register...". Remember "one person, one vote"... Take Care... and Look fwd to hearing/learning more abt your venture... OSUM!!!
