What do you mean by "juktos"? Conjuncts, i.e., combination
of consonants? This is normally done with the halant key,
which seems to correspond to 'g' in the Bangladesh/Bangladesh
layout for the GNOME keyboard layout.

However, this is with GNOME 2.24 on Ubuntu 8.10. GNOME 2.14
is rather old, and I cannot check which layout is used there.
There should also be a "India Bengali" layout under India,
which uses the Inscript standard that I am more familiar
with. There, the halant key is 'd', so that
ka + halant + ka == ক + ্ + ক == ক্ক  would be input as 'kdk'.
