[...] You are right in that I also don't see how Tata Indicom could identify the interval time (unless that somehow also changes things like TTL), but I have had this happen at least 2-3 times. At the same time, i.e., within a few minutes, "ping -i 10" would work, but not "ping -i 15", or "ping -i 20". Weird.
