Gaurav, I am student in JIIT , 4th yr. and we have 24 active people ( actully the figure is more then 70 , but those i counting only the genuine members) in our Local college LUG. >From inside the institution do u mean , JIIT Administration and HOD. The HOD of CS department, is himself involved in FOSS-based CSE Degree Program<http://www.nrcfoss.au-kbc.org.in/fossbased/>, initiated by NRCFOSS. Anyways, it mean he is in FOSS , so i think i can get permission to organise freed.in at JIIT. Well i can talk to them, if there is a possibility of JIIT as a freed.in as venue. We have very good seminar hall, in good numbers and enough size ( Both large and medium ) , each with projectors and sound systems. Wi-Fi in not yet in the full campus.
