In practice, this seldom happens. Since adding a cc is "free" as in free beer, people would send mail to ilugJNU and cc to ilugD. So, if I am a member, I see redundant mails.

I wish to give an advice [and apparently, it sounds like a judgement] If I can change it now , I would say "it is difficult(though not impossible) to build an ecosystem supporting FOSS in colleges, so the focus should rather be on building a city level eco system first and then with time one can think of gradually moving to a college level ecosystem, directly making a college level ecosystem might not be impossible but definitely tough to build" > --- > | But ilugd is a low frequency mailing list. > | Let them ask as many questions as they want > | > | Since you are a member, I hope you agree that their is not much > | discussion going on > | in ilugd anyways. > \-- > > These doesn't matter. Infact, I remember they posted such invite last time. I would love to hear views of the moderator/creator of this mailing list on 1) what does he expects to be posted on lugJNU and not lugD 2) what does he expects to be posted on lugD and not lugJNU (please ans the questions from perspective of JNU student and non-JNU person since both are invited to join the list) unless their is a clear cut answer to these questions, this mailing list is "cc alias" of ilugD. > I am not saying you should agree with all my views. But I wish to hear arguments of creator of ilugJNU on the same issue. -Ashish ashishb.net _______________________________________________ Ilugd mailing list [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
