This CPU cost us Rs. 14,000 along with DVD Writer and extra Network card. The old P3 systems have been donated to us but in market along with the old CRT monitors they might be available in around Rs. 3000. We have been using this setup for last one year and other than issues related to network cable or the network switch, we have not faced any maintenance need for computers themselves. We do not have any power backup for these systems. With respect to software, we have not needed any special maintenance. We are using EdUbuntu as the operating system. We did update the operating system once around six months ago. -- Regards, Vignesh Software Engineer http://2paisasbyviggy.wordpress.com/ http://fsmk.org _______________________________________________ Ilugd mailing list [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
