Hi, Can anyone solve my problems in caldera linux?? It is openLinux 3.1
Config : P4 2.4, intel 845gbv board, 256 ram. Onboard video / Sound. The installation was fine but now i hav a few problems: 1) My sound card is not working. It says device not present. Can u tell me how i can make linux recognise the inbuilt sound card of my intel board. 2) When i try to connect to internet using KsecurePPP, it connect to Vsnl but disconnects within 3 seconds. Is there something wrong in the configuration. 3) Caldera did not ask how much od swap space to make and made 127 MB of swap space. Now i want ot increase it to 512 MB. How can i do that? 4) The boot loader of Caldera gives 3 seconds to choose between Linux and windows. Can i increase the interval? 5) How can i access files in windows that i made in linux . I could not write to the /hda1 and other devices which belong to windows. Hence kindly suggest a way. 6) Is there any way i can uninstall Linux ( Caldera ) and install Linux (PCQLinux/Redhat).
